Turn of the Leaf poster
I wanted to give the Poster a limited color Palette Based off the logotype i created. The Logotype is inspired by A clockwork Orange because the film is meant to have a brutalist and retro feel to it.
The yellow border and the tagline "surrender or run" was to invoke old 80's movie vhs box covers.
The background is the wall graffiti which is an amalgamation of the other posters I made for this
The Posters were 2d cards added on to the building models to feel more lived in. I wanted to make it feel more naturally chaotic by layering posters, graffiti and tags unevenly and all spread out. I focused on the idea of skulls and mentioning of flesh, as the residents split into people who uploaded their minds into robot bodies and those who didn't. The worldbuilding for this was to create a sort of divide between factions in believing only themselves to be the in the right. The graffiti was meant to be more of a conversation between these two factions, as well as other individuals who chose to tag the walls.
