Winter break work checkup

work on winter break went well, i have finished all models for skye's apartment and am now over halfway done modeling the warehouse.






these are all of the apt props , the scene will have pipes dangling from the ceiling but to make it easier for render times they'll be a bezier curve. the room is all that's left to be UV unwrapped but shouldn't be too long or too difficult a hurdle.



these are the warehouse models i have done, the  girders are separate from the shelving so we can have some of that model type in the scene without said shelving, the shelving itself is designed to easily go atop itself for more convincible storage for MIL

this is an isometric view of the warehouse, with no windows and no comfort like the apt model, it'll be a very low poly background to texture. on the left is the garage door opener, the plan is to have the mechanism use a copy to points on a bezier curve  and animate the curve to replicate a real world garage door chain, but further R&D will determine final product

Vi and i have also been reviewing and discussing voice auditions for the characters in the film, as the auditions close on the 10th, Vi should be making a final selection after that
